Young Black Women need your help.

Black women earn 70p for every £1 earned by the average White British man. Black women are underrepresented in business, academia and leadership positions. Almost half of Black households in London are in poverty. Young Black women are worried about their futures. But we’re changing that.

When you give to KINShiP Bursary, you’re funding mentoring, coaching and bursaries that support young women from the age of 14 all the way through to university. We won’t stop until every young Black woman in the UK can thrive in education and work. But we need purpose-driven senior leaders like you to make it happen.

Hi, I’m Caron

I’ve been coaching people to be their best selves for over 17 years. I’ve worked with young people and schools for nearly 10 years. And I founded KINShiP Bursary because I saw how schools weren’t preparing young Black women to thrive.

The KINShiP Catalyst Club is a community of senior leaders passionate about impacting the next generation of young Black women. Like you, we’re committed to transforming lives. Senior leaders network, attend events, mentor our future leaders and give to make our work possible.

  • Your generous support will directly empower young women by providing a £1,000 a year bursary for their university degree. This will help them focus on achieving the best grades possible, without the financial stress.

  • Each year, we award girls aged 17+ from African and Caribbean heritage, Mixed heritage and ethnically diverse backgrounds who have accepted a place at university to complete an undergraduate degree. For more information, please visit our Bursaries page.

  • You will receive bi-annual progress reports detailing the outcomes of your support and the number of young women benefiting from your generosity. We'll also regularly share case studies and the projects young people are working on.

  • Yes, we welcome your interest in mentoring our young talents. Please let us know your preferences, and we will facilitate meaningful opportunities for engagement.

  • You can cancel or pause your donation/subscription at any time. Once you've signed up through Stripe, you'll have the option to manage your giving through your personal account.

  • Yes, you can give more or less than £6,000. To give less than £6,000, sign up for the quarterly gift for as long as you’d like. To give more than £6,000, you can sign up for multiple subscriptions or choose a custom amount. We appreciate your generosity.
